After the afternoon at the park POTA GB-2545 Sconce and Devon Park GB-5370 Devon Park Pastures Local Nature Reserve we moved on to Normanby Top, quite a low summit at only 168m ASL, its the highest point of the Linconshire Wolds. It also it has quite an intresting feature on it, the National Air Traffic Control Radar.

We had a walk around summit and tried calling CQ on 2m with no luck what so ever. So we started to headed back to the car to get G5LSI’s HF rig and get it set up. On the way back I manged to get 2m contact and was about to pass the handheld over to M7GAX when another operator jumped in the conversation and took over.
With the HF radio setup I got the 3 more contacts I need to activate the summit. M7GAX packed up out stuff and left G5LSI to carry on his activation.
