Wife, I and the dog decided to go camping and walk up Whernside. Instead of the normal route from Ribblehead viaduct we decide to walk up the west side as it was a shorter walk carrying the radio.

The walk was a fairly steady walk and took us about an hour. We got to the top and it was quite busy but found quieter area and I set the mast and radio up, the wife set up the picnic. Dog did not want to sit with me for some reason.
Met another Amateur Radio Operator on the summit. (I wrote his name done but cannot find it now)
