After the mornings less then brilliant SOTA at ZL1/BP-237 Mount Maunganui the drive to Papamoa Hills had me a little worried but it was a nice drive and the sun was shining.

Parked in the carpark and felt that after this mornings hill, I should try this park from the top of the hill there.

It was a hot step walk but finally got to the top and found a nice big tree to setup the radio.

Try as I might I could not make a single contact on any band or mode. I tried for well over a hour. Oh well, the views were worth the walk.
I packed up and headed down to the car, I set off home and saw this amazing vehicle so I stoped off to take a picture and ask what it is.

They are for watering and spraying Kiwi’s! Designed to drive up the rows under the plants.
