Decided for an evening activation of the Willows, it’s an only a 10-15 min walk from the QTH so a nice easy one to do. The sun was starting to set as I was getting there making for some lovely skies
Got set up on my usual perch with EFLW and the IC-705. I was wanting to try and use some other bands so I could work towards the James F LaPorta N1CC Activator award. As I was only using 5 watts, FT8 was the order of the day and it worked well! 80m FT8 to Poland, very happy. Also managed to work a local ham 2E0WTI on 40 and 80m SSB. So all in all a good evening.
