Was going to be playing Dad taxi and picking up eldest from York after her prom finished so I thought it would be better to be in the York area rather than being 30 mins away when I got the phone call to pick her up.
I spoke to G5LSI if he fancied an evening POTA in York and it did not take much persuasion. He suggested to try Fulford Ings, a park he had done before, and it should be nice and quiet, and we would not get any hassle there.
On the day I had Explorers first so would not be getting into York till about 21:15, I met G5LSI there and we set up. We were working as separate operators this time, so each using their own kit.
Was very happy with getting in to South America and the US.
