My eldest was going to a party in York and need a lift in and wanted a list home too. Why spend my evening driving around when I could drive her in, got to a park and then go and pick her up and drive home.
I mentioned to G5LSI what I was thinking of doing and he suggested to activate Rawcliffe Bar and he would come and join me.
We got parked up and headed in the park and found a picnic bench to work from. It was a little cold this evening, but I had brought a little sit mat which helped keep the chill from sitting on at table.
SSB was not working but got some great FT8 including Lebanon!
Packed up early and went and got a coffee to warm up before picking my eldest.
